It was another banner year for John W. Scherer and the Video Professor production team as it earned Platinum Best in Show honors from the Aurora Awards, an annual competition recognizing excellence in video production. Potential dangers lurk on social networking websites
John W. Scherer was a guest on the CBS 5 (KPHO-TV) morning show in Phoenix to discuss the potential dangers that kids can encounter on social-networking sites such as MySpace.com. He provided tips to parents on how to protect children from Internet predators and to let parents know that technology and keeping kids safe isn't as overwhelming as they may think.

Recognizing a need among its customers to help simplify their lives, Video Professor launched a tutorial aimed at helping people install wireless networks in their homes. Because more and more people have multiple work stations, John W. Scherer wanted to provide a solution that is easy to setup with a little know-how.
