High gas prices keeping you home? Stay connected!
High gas prices are creating new words in our ever changing language including “Staycation.” Simply put, it describes folks who are staying close to home this summer instead of the annual travel vacation. For many, the local beach or even backyard is replacing a theme park half way across the country.
With gas over $4 a gallon, we can’t blame you.
But people can still share vacation memories, even from their own backyard with friends, family and loves ones.
Several lessons in the Video Professor library can help you.
Staying competitive in a shrinking job market requires computer skills
Economic headlines continue to be gloomy, every day we read about layoffs and the rising number of people on unemployment. It’s another reason to stay up-to-date on the latest office-productivity software. Often when cutbacks or layoffs occur, it’s the super users that get to stay. These are the staff members who know the most about PowerPoint®, Excel®, Outlook® and many other programs.
Learning these programs is the core of Video Professor’s award-winning library of computer tutorials.
Everyone knows about eBay and just about everyone has likely bought something on the site.
Quite a few people have sold something on eBay and some have been very successful at it. A few of them have even created full-time businesses on eBay operating from the comfort of their home.
In an economy where everyone is looking at the bottom line, it’s no wonder that Video Professor’s Learn eBay tutorial is the company’s best selling lesson.
“Frankly, I had my doubts about this tutorial, I knew there was a need but I was surprised at the huge interest,” said John W. Scherer, CEO and founder of Video Professor, Inc. “The response has simply been terrific. In today’s uncertain economy it’s clear to me that people are looking at stuff stored in the attic or garage and seeing dollar signs.”
